Wade A. Snook 8-08-07 The weather is still calm, sunny and HOT! we met up at 7 a.m. and went to catch bait. Bait is plentiful, pigs and a few pins still in the same spot.(TC) After one hour of bait fishing we had enough, and made our way out the Inlet. The tide is outgoing starting early morning. We positioned up on the spot and with in a few minutes Brad and Dan were doubled up with Snook. We landed both fish, Snapped a few pictures and released them. The bite was not real hot, but they would hit every 5-10 min. if you had it in the right zone. The Jacks were still busting on the surface, Peggy had a few on light tackle that gave her a run for it. Peggy also hooked up with a Goliath Grouper but she didn’t stand a chance on stopping it. The fish was just to strong.

We decided to chase some bonita and look for the Tarpon. Well, no Tarpon today and the Bonita schools were scarce and hard to fish. The greenies are thick just south and close to the beach. We trolled some Geenies, but no takers. We did have a few hook ups with the Bonita. Dan also caught a Jack inside the Inlet. It was getting late and hot and it was time. Well you can’t catch them all the time, but you can try. We fished today and tomorrow maybe we catch.
