Tim, John, and Bob

rsz_g0120143Tim and John came from Idaho and New Mexico. Bob lives locally in Indialantic. The weather was perfect today with no winds and lots of sunshine. The water temp. is warming up as well it was 73 degrees. We started off the day fishing the flats but no luck there. Next we went and caught some bait. That was not easy we had to really work for our bait. After catching enough bait we anchored up for the last hour of outgoing tide and fished for Sheepshead. They caught a couple and lost a couple. It was not a great bite.

Once the tide switched to incoming we fished our live baits. Tim was on fire! He hooked up first and landed a nice Redfish which was 27lbs. Then he caught the second Red as well which was 31 lbs.  Next hook up was a double, John with a big Jack and Tim hooked into a big 33lb Redfish. John also caught a 33lb Red on the next drift. The sun was setting and it was getting time to go a couple of last drifts resulted in Tim hooking up again and landing another nice Redfish. Like I said he was on fire! It was a perfect day on the water. Thanks Tim, John, and Bob it was a pleasure to meet and fish with you. Hopefully we will do it again in the future.

Dan and Ron,

20150220_112759Dan and Ron are from Michigan. They fished with me 3 days this past week. The weather was not do great. It was some of the coldest days we have seen in a few years. Being from Michigan and the winter there having they mostly just wanted to get out on the water. We caught some nice Sheepshead, a bunch of Mangrove Snapper, some Bluefish, and on the last day got into a few big Redfish. The biggest was 42lbs. and 50 inches. It was fun fishing with Dan and Ron, a couple of great guys. Thanks again Dan and Ron for sticking it out and fishing in the windy, cold conditions. I hope to fish with you two again in the future.

Tracy and Cory

DCIM100GOPROFished with Tracy and Cory this morning.  The fishing action on jigs was really slow. We did managed to get on some Redfish with live baits though. The tide started out around 9:30 a.m. The bite was around 10 a.m. Tracy hooked up first and landed a nice Redfish. Cory caught the next Redfish which was a nice fish as well. They had a couple of good fish get off. It was a little rough out so we decided to move back inside and finish the trip with jigging. Not much luck inside. It was an enjoyable morning fishing with Tracy and Cory. Thanks again for fishing with Attitude.

Russ and Garrett

DCIM100GOPRORuss and Garrett have fished with a few times in the past. Garrett is from Atlanta and his Father Russ lives here in Melbourne Beach. Like the past 2 weeks the weather was perfect today. We departed from the Inlet Marina. We started off jigging around the Sebastian Inlet. We caught lots of Blues and Jacks, plus a couple of Spanish Mackerel. No Pompano.

After lots of jigging,  we went and caught bait for the outgoing tide. The tide switched at 12 p.m. The Redfish bite started around 1 p.m. Garett hooked up and landed his Redfish first which was 24lbs. Russ caught the next and biggest which was 32 lbs. The Blues were so thick it was really hard to get past them in order to get a Redfish bite. Garrett caught 2 more Reds before we ran out of bait. Thanks Russ and Garrett for fishing with Attitude again, it was a lot of fun. Merry Christmas!

Deb, J.P., and Aizlynn

DCIM100GOPRODeb, J.P., and Aizlynn are from Pennsylvania. They are in town for the holidays. J.P. is 8 yrs. old and is the fisherman of the family. His parents wanted to put him on some fish. We started of jigging around the Sebastian Inlet. He caught some Blues, Jacks, and 1 nice Pompano. The weather was perfect, with a outgoing tide starting around 11:30 a.m.

After jigging we caught some Croakers and pigfish. Once the tide stared to go out we fished for the Redfish. The Blues were so thick that they were tearing up our baits before the Reds had a chance. With some patience and a lot of baits J.P. was able to get a Redfish hooked up. It was a biggie, he did a great job with a little assistance from his sister Aizlynn. The Redfish was 31 lbs. Great job J.P. Thanks Deb, J.P. and Aizlynn for fishing with Attitude. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. Hope you enjoy the Pictures. Merry Christmas!
