Tim, John, and Bob

rsz_g0120143Tim and John came from Idaho and New Mexico. Bob lives locally in Indialantic. The weather was perfect today with no winds and lots of sunshine. The water temp. is warming up as well it was 73 degrees. We started off the day fishing the flats but no luck there. Next we went and caught some bait. That was not easy we had to really work for our bait. After catching enough bait we anchored up for the last hour of outgoing tide and fished for Sheepshead. They caught a couple and lost a couple. It was not a great bite.

Once the tide switched to incoming we fished our live baits. Tim was on fire! He hooked up first and landed a nice Redfish which was 27lbs. Then he caught the second Red as well which was 31 lbs.  Next hook up was a double, John with a big Jack and Tim hooked into a big 33lb Redfish. John also caught a 33lb Red on the next drift. The sun was setting and it was getting time to go a couple of last drifts resulted in Tim hooking up again and landing another nice Redfish. Like I said he was on fire! It was a perfect day on the water. Thanks Tim, John, and Bob it was a pleasure to meet and fish with you. Hopefully we will do it again in the future.
