Capt. Eric

Jeff

003 Jeff is from Houston, Texas and is a bartender there. He was in town for Thanksgiving, visiting his family. I picked Jeff up at  Capt. Hiram’s. The weather was perfect. No winds, and the temperature was just right. Well we had no problems with pigs and pins. We had plenty of bait before dark. We arrived at the inlet as the sun was setting. The tide was just starting to slack as it got dark. We tried for some Redfish for the first hour. Jeff had two hits but had no luck with the hook set. It usually takes everyone a miss or two until they get the hang of it.
The tide switched and was incoming. After getting skunked out around the mouth. We moved in and fished for some Snook. It took a few drifts until Jeff finally got a hit and it was fish on. It was a nice keeper Snook. He did a good job of landing it. Well, for the next hour the bite was on. It was cool because all the boats had left. I guess because it was slow. I think there was only one other boat fishing. Jeff ended up landing 7 Snook, 4 of them were keeper size and 3 were a little short. They wanted pins, every fish was on a pin. The tide slacked at 10 p.m. and we had no more pins. Thanks Jeff, it was a pleasure to fish with you. Email me and I will get you these pics. Thanks again!
