Don, Brian, and Amber

Don's 36inch Snook  Don, Brian, and Amber are from the Dallas, Texas area. The three fished with me last Nov. This time we met at the inlet. the weather was perfect. I was a little worried earlier in the day, because it was windy. Around 5 p.m. the wind laid down to nothing. Pins and Pigs were still thick. After catching plenty of bait we made our way to the inlet. The tide was still moving out when we started fishing. Amber hooked up first with a Redfish. She did a good job of fighting it. The Red of the night was about 30″. Amber was on fire she landed 2 or 3 Reds before anyone else. The Reds were hitting for the last part of outgoing.

As the tide switched the bite stopped. We moved in and fished for Snook. The bite was on, Brian and Amber doubled up on the first drift. Amber lost hers but Brian landed his first fish and it was a nice 30″ keeper Snook. The bite was on everyone caught few Snook including nice keepers. They limited out and we released a few nice fish. Don caught the biggest fish of the night on the last drift of the night. It was classic, out in the middle on a pinfish, a nice 36″ Snook.  That was a good night at the inlet. Thanks Don for everything. I hope your family enjoys the fresh fish. Happy Holidays!   oh yea, GO BUCS!
