Capt. Eric

Dave and Jason
Dave is from Orlando. He fished with me two years ago. Jason is a friend of his from Chicago. We met at Capt. Hiram’s. Bait was no problem, still plenty of pins and pigs to go around. The weather was a little cloudy. a front approaching. The tide was incoming for most of the night, switched at 9 p.m. Once we started fishing it took a bit for either one of them to get a hit. Dave hooked up first with a nice Snook. We landed and measured it at 33″. The bite was kind of slow. Dave had a big Red on for a second and it broke off. Jason finally hooked up after about 2 hours of fishing it hard. It was a nice Red, weighed 21lbs. Well that changed the momentum, he hooked up two more fish and landed them with ease. A 20lb. and a 13lb. Redfish. We ran out of bait and the tide came to a slack. So that was that and we headed back to the dock. Thanks guys for a fun trip. It was a pleasure.
