Kane and Owen

rsz_gopr0069Kane and Owen fished with attitude today. They are 11 and 13, they live locally. Kane’s Dad dropped them off at the dock at 8 a.m. We went straight to catching bait for the morning. It took a few moves but we eventually got on the Pigfish. The tide was incoming all morning. After catching enough bait we went and fished them for Redfish. They were definitely chewing. On every drift, one of the boys were hooking up.  We landed a few, missed a few, and landed a few more. We decided to go do a little jigging but no luck. With the approaching storms we decided to do one last drift for Reds before we got rained out. Kane and Owen each hooked up and were in the middle of the battle when the rain began to come down with force. They both did a great job of getting their fish to the boat for the net. A quick picture and it was time to get back to the Inlet Marina.  Kane and Owen were really a joy to fish with. Great to see such young guys so stoked on fishing. Thank you!

Thanks Eric,
The boy ate, showered and then talked non stop about the day and his plans to fish with you again. He has a monster snook. Triple tail and cobia on his fish list. Hopefully we can get him out again this week!

Thanks again Joe…I might be able to do the Monster Snook and Triple Tail. Cobia is going to be tough unless we get another run of them.
Just give me a ring whenever. I really enjoyed fishing with them, great to see youth so stoked on fishing!
