Capt. Eric

Robbie and Stephanie

Robbie and Stephanie are from the Jupiter area in south Florida. There was a ground swell that arrived on Friday and the surf was of good size. The weather was kind of sloppy. Raining and cloudy. We met up at Capt. Hiram’s in the morning. First off we went and caught a few croakers. Then we jigged a bit for Pompano. Because of the surf, I couldn’t get the boat in close enough. The tide was incoming all morning. We tried a few drifts in the inlet and Robbie hooked and landed a big Jack. After that we tried fishing a few spots for snook, but no luck. With it raining and the winds picking up it was difficult to fish. We moved on to the flats for one last try. Robbie caught a few Trout around 13-15 inches. It was getting chilly with the rain and wind. We decided to call it quits. Thanks again Robbie and Stephanie it was a pleasure to meet and fish with you two.
