The weather cleared up from the weekend. I wanted to go and try for some Cobia. John and Ken are good friends of mine. We left from Port Canaveral just after 8 a.m. I checked a few spots for Triple Tail but no luck. We headed S.E. after that to Pelican Flats. We fished for a while and found no Cobia. we made a few bottom drops. We caught a few Small Red Snappers and A few Lane Snappers. Croakers were everywhere on the bottom. We did manage to spot 4 Cobia on different Turtles. We caught 3 of them but they were just a bit to small to keep. The 4th was not even worth casting at. That was it for the whole day. Not much to cast at out there right now. The weather was incredible all day. Most of the reports were the same, just small fish with a keeper here and there.
