Capt. Eric John and Nick
 John and Nick are here from out of town for work at the Kennnedy Space Center. They decided they wanted to test there fishing skills with some Sebastian Inlet night time Snook action. With the cold front approaching the barometric pressure was dropping and the fishing was looking favorable. We met up at the ramp around 4 p.m. and headed to the same bait spot that has been producing for months now. Bait was not an issue.
When we arrived at the inlet at dark the tide was outgoing. The bite was on. John hooked up first and lost the first. Shortly after Nick hooked up and landed a nice Keeper Snook. They had a bet on first, biggest, and most. Nick was up 1-0. John hooked up next and landed a big Redfish. Nick first and John biggest. The most was a back and forth lead change. John caught a nice Snook that was just a bit to big, 33″. Nick was on fire, he couldn’t miss with a keeper Snook all 3. As the tide switched to incoming the front started to show signs. The winds began blowing hard out of the west and with the tide incoming it was difficult to fish. John and Nick did a good job of fishing the tough conditions. Well Nick was up 2-1, he had the most and the first. John was holding the biggest with the Red. That all would come to an end. On one of the last drifts of the night Nick hooked into and landed a monster Red that was no doubt the biggest of the night.
