Sean and Brad

008 Sean and Brad are friends, they live in Ohio. They were in the area to fish for a few days. They were chartering me one day to get a few tips. We met up at Capt Hiram’s first thing in the morning. The tide in the Inlet is high at 7 a.m. We went right out and caught our croakers. After enough Croakers we went and fished the inlet for the Snook. The Snook bite was slow or maybe we missed it. Sean did catch one Snook that was about 30 inches. After awhile it was time to go and try something else. We ran in to the schools of greenies on the way out. We caught a dozen or so and moved on.

Once we started fishing, it didn’t take long and Sean and Brad were hooking up Cobia, one after another. It was something else to see. They caught a few shorts and ended up with three nice keepers. They could not believe the action. With the storms building and the winds were picking up from the south. Once we got back inside we ran the beaches for a bit and came across some big schools of glass minnows. Nothing feeding on them, there was a few small Manta Rays with no fish on them. We went inside the river and I pointed a few things out that they might want to try and fish during there stay. Thanks guys it was a lot of fun fishing with you two. I will get your shirts in the mail to you asap. Seriously, thanks for everything. I had a great time. Hopefully we all can fish together again in the future.
