John and I
John with 2 fat keepersWell I was just sitting around the house and started thinking why not call John and see if he wanted to go and catch the outgoing Snook bite at Sebastian Inlet. The storms were approaching and I knew it would be close but figured what the hell. We launched and the tide was slack at 2:30 p.m. Croakers were pretty thick once we located them. The lucky number was suppose to be 12 and it ended up being 14 baits in the well.

Once we got anchored and started Snook fishing we both lost our first fish. John actually missed his first 3. He put the first keeper Snook on the boat, a FAT and I mean FAT 32″ Snook. I caught the next one and it was 34″ and released. John hooked and landed the next Snook it was a monster, 36″. Well the storms were on us and we got pretty wet, but we were catching fish. We eventually put a 2nd keeper in the boat. John did catch a Redfish that was 30″ approx. Limit of Snook. It was a great trip short and sweet. Time to eat some fresh Snook. It’s Friday night!!
