Capt. Eric

Thom and Chuck

Chuck Biggie Snook!!! The winds never let up in fact it seem maybe even a little stronger. We met up at Capt. Hiram’s just before dark. We hooked and lined our bait as it was getting dark. We caught just enough to fish with. While we waited for the tide to slow down, we took a hour break and got some food from Hiram’s. When we arrived at the inlet nobody was there and the tide was incoming. It was still ripping fast. We went to the lures and after a few pulls we started to hook up. Thom hooked the first which was just short. After that Thom and Chuck went back and forth catching Snook. There was alot of fish out of slot, they were either 27 inch range or to big at 34 to 36 inches. They did each get a keeper though. We even caught fish on live baits when the tide lightned. I didn’t want to mention the two nice fish missed on live baits. Chuck was on fire though, he did catch the most. That was a great night, it has been a long time since we have had a night that good. Thom thanks again for everything that you do. I hope you have a great journey out west. Be safe and have fun! see ya later
