027 013 Mike and his son Mitch are here visiting Rob and decided to fish for a day. Mike and Mitch are from West Virginia. The weather is still calm and clear and HOT! The Bait was plentiful still tons of pigs and few pins. I hear the croakers are on the beach. The tide was to turn outgoing around 10 a.m. We ran the beaches and saw a few Tarpon and the bait pods of glass minnows. The Bonita are blasting baits but it difficult to get a hook up. With the tide getting right it was time to go Snook fishing. After getting anchored up, The Snook began to feed heavily. All together Mike, Mitch, and Rob caught 16 Snook, 10 – 20 lbs. Even I got to catch one and lose one. The Snook were also feeding on pins. After we wore out the Snook we went and ran down the Bonita hooking up and landing two. Rob and Mike each got one. Thanks guys for a lot of fun that was an incredible bite. I took tons of Photos hope you like.
