Captain Eric Metcalf was born in Clearwater, FL. in 1974. He moved to the Sebastian Inlet area in 1992 to follow his passion for surfing and fishing. It didn’t take long for him to adapt to the beach life and found himself either on his board or on the boat fishing regularly. 

After dedicating himself to learning the local fishery he began to dream of a career that would support his lifestyle and his passion to be on the water. His talent came naturally to him as his knowledge. In 1998 Eric followed his dreams and became a USCG licensed Captain and considers himself lucky to live this lifestyle every day. 

Over the years, Captain Eric has become well-known for catching fish! He is referred to often as having the Sebastian Inlet “Dialed in!” He is exceptionally knowledgeable of our local inshore and offshore fishery. Eric specializes in, and is well known for, CATCHING SNOOK! 

While Captain Eric can whisper snook into his boat, he also specializes in a variety of other species anglers are sure to enjoy! From cobia, triple tail, jack crevalle, monster bull redfish, pompano, and lots more, Captain Eric will hook you up!
