Capt. EricJay, Ray, Carol, and Phyllis
The winds calmed down a little for the afternoon. It was beautiful day with sun out. The tide started to come in around 1 p.m. Jay, Ray, Carol, and Phyllis did a great job of toughing out the rough seas and catching bait. With the tide coming in we set up and made some drifts. It took a couple of drifts before Ray hooked up and landed the first big Redfish. Jay caught the second Redfish. Phyllis hooked up as well and landed the third one. I believe Jay caught a big Jack. We had a few misses. We Jigged for some Pompano but no luck. Jay, Ray, Carol, and Phyllis decided to call it quits at 6 p.m. It was a great trip and nice to meet and fish with these four. Thanks Jay, Ray, Carol, and Phyllis for coming fishing for the afternoon. Hope to see and fish with you again.
