Jason

The weather has been perfect. The past two days. Jason is in town from Kentucky and has never fought a Goliath grouper. he decide to give it a shot. We caught a few Bonita just outside the inlet. Then headed to Bethel Buoy and dropped some big Bonita chunks. Jason hooked up instantly.  Jason had 5 hook ups total. Finally on the fifth fish we got him to leaver the chain of the buoy. Jason fought the fish for an hour when he broke the rod. A costly mistake, cause after that it was nearly impossible to battle the beast.  The fish ended up breaking off.  We slow trolled a little on the 90ft bar and had a little action. A few short bites and one 15lb. Grouper off the bottom.
