The Morris family goes fishing! The weather was perfect. Started off a little foggy this morning. Then around 9 a.m. the sun broke through. The winds were very light. For bait, I found some Mullet and Pilchards in the river. We started off fishing around the monster hole area. They got into some Bluefish and 1 Spanish Mackerel.
We headed out a few miles and slow trolled our livies. The Kingfish bite was good. The fish were of smaller average. But the action was hot! Everyone got to pull on few reel screamers! We caught 9 or 10 and lost just as many. Good Bite! It was a lot of fun. Always feels great to hear the drags scream and see the rods bent. Thanks Morris family!
