Steve, Scott, and Jake

The weather has finally changed for the better. It’s hot but at least the winds have laid down for now and we can get out and fish, seas were 1ft. The moon is at its fullest tonight and that can slow fishing down. Steve and Jake are from Arkansas and Scott lives in Orlando. We departed from the Inlet marina. We went and caught our bait before heading out. We caught a good mix of everything. Also netted some pogies behind the inlet. The plan was to do a little bottom fishing in 50ft. and come in and try for a Snook at the end of the trip. They caught there limit of Seabass and Jake caught a nice Red Snapper. I think they might of lost a few good ones as well. But what’s a fishing trip with out the story of the one that got away!

The Snook bite either was not happening today or I just showed up a little late and missed it. They did catch a couple of decent size Jacks that were fun. Over all it was a great day on the water with perfect weather and a great group! Thanks guys and well see you on Friday for trip #2
