Leslie, Charlie, and John

The weather was perfect, no winds or clouds. We met at the Inlet Marina. Leslie, Charlie, and John have been out with me a few times before. Being Phillie fans, they usually fish with me around spring training.  We started off in the flats and they were catching Trout, ladyfish, and small Jacks. The weather was so calm that we went out into the ocean. There was action everywhere. Greenie pods and glass minnow pods were thick. There were a lot of Spanish Mackerel and Bonita feeding on the pods. Charlie and John caught there share of Spanish. We were running and gunning. Charlie got hooked up with a nice Bonita. John doubled up as well. The fish were crossing each other and Johns line got cut. Charlie did a great job at fighting the Bonita on 10lb. test. We also spotted a large school of BIG Jacks! John got hooked up on one and quickly learned the power of a horse Jack. Well, lets just say I think next time he will know to keep his rod up! It was fun while it lasted though. Thanks again Leslie, Charlie, and John for the great trip. You guys are always fun to fish with.
