Well lets just say it was rough.  I had a charter cancel so I decided to go fishing myself with a few friends. We left a little late though. On the way out it was nice until we reached about 7 miles out and the winds picked up. They were blowing straight out of the east. It quickly jumped up and we were taking a pounding. I was too close though to turn around, we were gonna at least make a drop or two. Once we reached the spot, we started fishing and caught all of the huge Sea Bass you could ask for. It’s pretty ridiculous that you can’t even keep Sea Bass. Well, at least were still allowed to drive a boat! lol.  Besides the endangered Sea Bass, the bite was slow. I did catch one Red Grouper that was a keeper! oh yea!, can’t keep those either!  The winds laid down a little and we fished for a few hours. No Cobia, and nothing to bring home and eat. Good thing!  I live in this free country where I can’t hunt fish and feed myself! It’s a Joke!
