Capt. Eric

John A., Chipper, and Dave

The weather was a little cloudy with some light rain. The winds were about 10mph. It was a little chop. We caught our pins first off and then headed back to the S.E. 90 ft. stuff. Once we started fishing, chipper hooked right up with a Cobia, it was a keeper. We were jigging the bottom and ended up catching 4 Cobia, 3 were keepers. No Snapper or Grouper though. We did catch plenty of Seabass. The bite shut down and we decided to head in to some 60 ft. bottom. We were jigging up Seabass when a Cobia followed a fish up to the boat. We made another drift and Dave put a pinfish on a Thunder Bait Cobia jig. He hooked up almost instantly with a good fish. After a good fight Dave brought the fish to the boat to be gaffed. It was our 4th keeper of the day. Another great day of fishing with great friends!
