Fishing update 10-21-10

October 21, 2010
Capt. Eric

The weather has been perfect. Temperatures have come down. Fishing has been good. I have been fishing mostly in the evening for the Sebastian Inlet Snook. Mullet run is still in swing and the river is fully stocked. I have been catching croakers and pigs for bait with ease. The Snook bite has been fair. A lot of fish are over the slot limit, but with some effort we have been getting our keepers. All sizes of Redfish have been abundant as well. I have caught 3 keeper Reds since snook season has opened. Dolphin and Wahoo reports have been good. Cobia are even showing up. Eric Stone caught two on Monday in the 40lb. range and Forrest Palmer caught a 47lb. Cobia on Tuesday.  Last week was pretty good for the moon phase. Saturday the 23rd this week is the full moon. 8:41 a.m. is high tide on Saturday. Seas have been 1-2ft. and are suppose to increase 3-4 over the weekend. Have a safe weekend and Tight lines!!
