Jason and Justin

Jason and Justin from Kentucky on the last day of there vacation. The weather was perfect. Light west wind. Seas 1-2ft. We headed out from the Inlet Marina at 7 a.m. The tide was incoming in Sebastian Inlet on the way out. Threadfins and Spanish Sardines are on the beaches near the inlet. We picked a few up and headed to the north. We fished a few spots in 60ft. and  caught a Cobia that was just short and a few Seabass. While we were running around we came across some schools of BIG JACKS!!! Jason and Justin each caught a one. Biggest was Justin 28lbs. and other was Jason 21lbs. I didn’t think that big one was ever gonna stop running. We also caught some Spanish Mackerel that were in a feeding frenzy.

We headed out to the 90ft. stuff and moved around a few times catching seabass. There was no current and we were just drifting. On the last spot we got into the Red Snapper. I wish we could of kept them. Jason and Justin ended up catching 6 and we left them biting. Only one getting a fresh  Snapper dinner today is the big Bull shark that came up and fed on one of Justin’s fish. That is always kind of cool to see. Well that was a great day of fishing, lots of action. Thanks again Jason and Justin for both trips. I’ll see you in a month ,maybe?
