Stacy and Al
Stacy and Al fished with me last year. Stacy booked me for two trips this year. The weather has been changing. You can feel the fall in the air, feels nice. The tide is switching to out going around 8:30 p.m. We met up at Capt. Hiram’s. Bait(croakers) are still in in good numbers near the Wabasso bridges. After bait catching we made our way into the inlet. The tide was slowly moving in. We fished the mouth for a bit and had no luck until the tide switched.
As the tide started to move out. We started to hook into some fish. I believe Stacy actually landed the first fish , a Redfish that was 27 1/2″ , almost a keeper. Al was hooking up as well with Reds. The reds were super thick. It was tough to get a bait through them with out getting hooked up. Al lost a couple of Snook before catching one that was about 1/8″ shy of being a keeper. It was Red after Red. Al did put a keeper Snook in the boat. He also caught one that was 34″. After catching to many Redfish to count we were running low on bait and it was getting late. We decided to call it quits and try again the next night.
