Gary S., John, and Chris
We all met up again at 7 a.m. at the inlet. The tide was incoming and I was thinking with all of the previous cold weather there would be some Pompano. We jigged for about a hour and just came up with a bunch of small Jack and a small Trout. We decided to move on and try our luck with the Grouper trolling. About 45 mins. in to it we got a knock down it was a big, strong fish. By the time that Chris got to the Rod the fish had all ready shook himself free. The lure had some nice puncture wounds in it. We never did get another hit on the trolling.
We stopped on our way to the inlet and fished this little sailboat wreck. Just a lot of small fish picking our baits clean. We left for the Inlet and the tide was still incoming. we set up a few drifts and caught a few Blues. No Reds. Chris hooked into a nice Flounder and landed it fishing with a Pinfish that was pretty much dead. You just never know. Well it was noon and John and Chris each had to catch there planes at 5 p.m. Gary thanks again for all your support and I hope you and the wife enjoyed the fresh Flounder. John and Chris it was a pleasure to meet and fish with you. I will be watching more Bills football next year. Thanks again guys!
