Capt. Eric

Gary M., Andrew, Mike, and Dave
002 Gary and Andrew fished with me last year and this year Gary brought his other son Mike and his brother Dave. The weather was perfect no wind, sun was shing and it is starting to warm a bit. The weather has just been freezing since the 1st week of Jan. Well I picked the 4 up at Capt. Hiram’s and we caught our pinfish with no problems. The bait is thick. We tried a little Grouper trolling before dark but no luck.

The tide switched to incoming around 5 p.m. As the sun was setting we moved in to the inlet and started to fish. It took a bit to find where the Reds were hanging. Mike hooked up first and then Dave hooked up. Dave lost his and Mike did a great job. That fish screamed and gave him a heck of a fight. He eventually brought it to the boat and I put a net on it. Easily 30lbs. plus and 40 plus inches. Gary and Dave doubled up on the next drift with quite smaller Reds. They did land both fish. Both were around 15lbs. The bite was short it shut off as quick as it turned on. We fished for a couple of hours before Gary hooked up and landed a Red that was just as big as his boys Mike earlier in the night. We decided to call it a night after a couple of more drifts with no luck. Thanks Gary and crew for fishing aboard the Attitude Adjustment. It was a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
