Steve, Jaron, and Dave are from Melbourne. Dave has fished with me before. I picked these three up at Capt. Hiram’s. The weather was near perfect. It was blazing hot though. We decided to try for Kingfish, because of the good day on Friday that I had. The greenies were there but a little shy. They were getting hammered from all the boats. As the boats laid off they started to come up more. A couple of schools of big Jacks were roaming. Never could get hooked up. I missed a couple of hits. The tide switched to outgoing around 10 a.m. We moved into the Inlet around 11. We set up a few drifts and Steve was first to hook up and land a nice Redfish. A few drifts later Dave caught himself a nice Redfish. Jaron hooked up and landed a small Goliath on a crab. There has been some crabs on the grass. Thanks again Steve, Jaron, and Dave.
