Capt. Eric Jesse and Bob
We left the dock around 8 a.m. We were up late fishing the night before. The weather was perfect. Calm winds and nothing but sunshine. After a quick trip to the Fisherman’s Den we were off to find some fish. The tide switched to outgoing in the inlet near 8:30 a.m. We scooped a few crabs up off the grass. The bait pods of greenies were thick just outside the inlet. After loading the bait well with greenies, we slow trolled a few. The action was hot! Jesse caught two nice size Kings. Bob missed a few and did get too fight a decent size Bonita. After fishing for the Kings we decided to go try for the Permit. Well lets just say no luck. We might have a few fish on. Jesse it was nice to meet you. I am sure we will fish again. Bob, lets get that curse off of you.
