Capt. Eric

Amy, Lucretia, Tom, and Chris

Amy R. and Capt. Eric Kingfish Its is Mother’s day. Happy Mothers day, Moms. Amy’s 2nd trip with me. Well the weather is nice, a little windy. It was foggy and light west wind in the morning. The wind picked up through the morning to a NW 20 plus. We left from Capt. Hiram’s and went straight to the ocean. The tide was moving out in the Inlet. There was some threadfins near the beaches. After catching enough bait we slow trolled.

Tom hooked and landed the first kingfish followed by the second as well. The bite was on, a lot of bait and Kings. We trolled around for awhile and everyone got to catch a nice King. Lucretia did a great job at fighting her first saltwater fish ever. Chris is 11 yrs. old and got to pull in a few as well. Tom caught a solid Bonita. Amy ended with the biggest of the day. Great job! That was a nice king approx. 25lbs. We caught all our fish on Shimano 4500 Baitrunners with 20lb. test. What a great day! Full of action. The kings are close to the beach and you cant beat it. Thanks Amy, Lucretia, Tom, and Chris. It was a pleasure to fish with you. Hope you guys enjoy the pics and the fish.
