Ted & Cassie

Ted 27lbs Red The Weather is getting colder, with a few cold fronts moving through the fishing has been Hot! Ted and Cassie are in town and were booked for a action packed night. We met at Capt. Hiram’s at 4 p.m. and set off to catch are bait. Pins and just a few pigs. The pins were big as well. The sun is setting now at 5:30 p.m. and it is completely dark by 6 p.m.

The tide is incoming until 9:30 p.m. We set up east of the bridge and on the first drift Cassie hooked up with a nice Redfish. That was Cassie’s biggest fish ever approx. 17lbs. nice catch! On the next drift it was Ted’s turn with a 30 inch Redfish. We continued to catch a few more Reds and 2 short Snook. Cassie had a keeper next to the boat but it broke off. As the tide slowed we moved in to the fenders and caught a few more short Snook. Ted didn’t get his keeper until the outgoing tide. Ted also caught a fat Red it weighed 27lbs. on the Boca Grip. After a few more fish it was time to call it a night. The Snook were there just a lot were small fish. Tons of action!  Thanks Ted and Cassie for the trip.
