Thom and Chuck

Chuck it out!!!  We met up at 6 p.m. We headed straight to get bait. The bait seem to be north of the inlet. The winds are calm and moon is almost full. The tide is incoming until midnight. When we finished catching bait, we made our way to the inlet and started fishing. It wasn’t long before Chuck put the first fish on the boat a 27″ Snook, just short. Almost every drift we had a bite. The Reds were thick. The Reds seemed to be all 26″ to 30″ range. Thom and Chuck each put a keeper Red in the box.

We decided to take a break and get a sandwich at Capt. Hiram’s before they closed. After the break we went back to fishing and they were still biting. We got our third Red and a few others. As the tide slowed the Snook started hitting. Thom put the first keeper 30″ Snook in the box. Chuck got the next fish which was a Fatty Snook, we took some photos and released it. Nice fish Chuck! The Snook were following each other to the boat. On the next drift, Chuck hooked up again and landed a keeper 29″ Snook. The tide was starting to move out and it was getting rough. On the last drift I Put the third keeper 30″ Snook on the boat. What a night, perfect weather, limit on Reds, limit on Snook, and lots of released fish. Thom and Chuck thanks for letting me get the third Snook and thank you for the good times.
