Ron, Cathy, and Nick

Cathy and Trout 9-24-07 Ron, Cathy, and Nick are from up state New York. The weather is windy N.E. 15 mph. The wind has been blowing for a solid week. The sun is out and it was clear. The tide is high in the early morning. With the strong winds, fishing was going to be difficult. We worked our way to the east shore line and set up some drifts over a flat that has been producing some nice Reds and Trout, I have even seen some nice size Snook. We fished with some live shrimp and some jigs. Cathy was first to catch a fish, a keeper Trout. Nick caught the next Trout which was a keeper. Ron switched over to shrimp and put a keeper on the boat. Ron also caught a small Jack. Cathy caught the fourth Trout.

As it was getting later we decided to catch some pins and pigs. While we were catching some bait, we had a line out the back and Ron caught a nice size Bluefish. We made our way over to the inlet and the tide was ripping out with the winds blowing hard east. We fished a few spots but never could produce a hit. Thanks again Ron, Cathy, and Nick. It was a pleasure to meet and fish with you. Hope you enjoyed your dinner.
