Joe and Tom(Son) trip #2
Joe and Tom were back to try some night time fishing, a first for them. They didn’t know what they were in for. Well, we caught some bait. Mostly pins and pigs, just a couple of croakers. The sun was setting and it was time to run. We arrived at the inlet just with enough time to fish the last part of the incoming. We set up anchor and let some baits out. Joe hooked up a nice fish, I thought it might be Snook because it was a croaker that got hit. After a couple of runs we saw it was a nice big Red. We landed it and snapped a picture. Tom hooked up next with a big Jack. That was a good fight for Tom.

It was dark and it was time to set up for some drifts. The tide was going out. Lets just say it was on fire, it was silly. Every drift was a hit. Joe and Tom did catch there fair share of bottom. The fish were hitting just at the same spot every drift. Joe and Tom figured it out and started to catch some nice fish. Tom caught his first snook all by himself. Nice job Tom! After tons of action, the final numbers were in Joe 2 Snook and 1 Red. Tom 2 Snook, 1 Red and 1 Jack. We took Photos but don’t know if they will turn out. Joe thanks for everything. I got a new rod the next day. Email the pictures if they turn out?
