Eddy and his brother were over from Tampa. We met up at the Inlet Marina two hours before dark. We went and caught our bait, pins and a few pigs. The tide was incoming most of the evening. We fished it pretty hard. Caught one Snook and missed a few fish. Catching was tough, moon was full. Please! don’t ever mess with the captains drag settings. If you miss the fish then you can blame me. If you miss the fish and you messed with my settings then I blame you. enough said, lesson learned. Thanks Eddy and Brother for fishing with Attitude Adjustment. Next time were gonna kill it!

We met up at the Inlet Marina. We went straight to catching pinfish. The tide in the inlet was incoming til 6 p.m. we fished the mouth for a bit. Marc was hooking up with Bluefish on every cast. It was really rough and Marc’s wife and daughter started to feel a little sick. We dropped them at the dock and headed back out for another hour. We fished the back and got into some nice Snook. Marc was classic, he was having so much fun pulling on them Snook. He landed 2 Snook. One was 30″ and the other was 33″. He lost one at the boat as well that was the biggest, probably around 36″. Marc it was great fishing with you. It’s always nice to have customers that enjoy the whole experience. Thanks again for everything and I look forward to our next trip.

Hiram’s at 5 p.m. We set out to get bait. No problem catching pins. We fished bait for an hour or so. We went into the inlet a little before dark. The tide started to come in around 6:30. George and Billy played with the Blues and Jacks. Catching a fish on almost cast. We were just using a silver spoon. Some Snook being caught as well on small bucktails. There was quite a feeding frenzy going on.

Once it got dark the Blues moved out of there and we could get a bait down. George hooked up and landed a nice Red that bottomed out my 30lb. scale. Billy had two nice fish hooked up on the north side and he just had a hard time turning the fish and with a lot of lines off the north jetty we lost both fish. we will get them next time Billy. Well it was still a great trip with some good action. Thanks again George it was great fishing with you again.

Justin, Jim, and Jim#2
Justin from Whitey’s Bait and Tackle, his father Jim and a family friend, another Jim(Jim#2) from Texas. I met Jim and Jim#2 at the Inlet Marina at 4. We headed and caught pins and pigs for the night. Bait was a little slow. We managed to get a few though. Just before dark we started fishing. The tide was incoming with the switch around 8:30 p.m. I was hoping the Reds would be there and Jim#2 could pull on one of the big monsters, but the bite was really slow. We did have a some action though. Jim caught the first two fish, which were both short Snook. Caught those on live baits, near the bridge. We picked Justin up around 8 p.m. at the L-dock. Jim#2 caught a couple of short Snook as well. We trolled some plugs for awhile and lost a few fish. It’s still amazes me how a fish can throw 6 hooks(2 trebles). I know for a fact one of them was a keeper, because it came off right next to the boat. Justin caught a couple of small snook as well on plugs and artificials. All the Snook seem to be short right now. We need a closed season, so some fish can grow. Well it was time to call it quits. Thanks guys for the trip. I really appreciate it. Jim#2 next time your in town, we will go fishing on me! Thanks again.

Cornelius and Patricia were visiting Mike who lives in central Florida area. The three of them are involved in the Butterfly business. Cornelius is a South African, who is a true outdoor sportsman. He has some interesting stories. We met up and departed from Capt. Hiram’s. The weather was raining all day. The ocean was huge and out of control. We tried to fish during the afternoon but got rained out. We met back up in the evening after the bad storms had passed. I had bait from the previous trip, so we did not go bait fishing. When we got to the inlet around 7 p.m the tide was pretty much slack. We fished with live baits for a bit but with not much luck we switched to plugs. We started doing pretty good. We were pretty much hooking up every other pull through. A lot of the fish were smaller ones. Cornelius and Mike each got a keeper Snook though. Even though the weather was bad, it was a good trip, we caught fish and brought two keepers back to the dock. Hope you three enjoyed your fresh Snook. Thanks for fishing with attitude!

Miguel, Brian, Chip, and Philip fished with me two years ago. Brian lives in Atlanta and the other ones live in Orlando. Anthony also lives in O-town, this was his first trip with attitude. They stayed at Capt. Hiram’s. The 5 of them had me booked for two days of fishing. The weather was kind of questionable. A little cold and windy. We met up around 4 p.m. and started caching bait. We caught enough for the two days, pins and pigs. Once the sun set we headed to the inlet. The tide was pretty much slack. We fished the mouth for some Reds. Philip was first to hook up and land a big Red. Brian caught the next big Red. Chip joined in as well with a big Red. Anthony caught a monster Snook about 28lbs.(no picture).

Once the tide started to ripping out, it made live baits a little tough, so we switched and started pulling plugs. Let’s just say we never fished a live bait again after that. We were catching Snook one after the other. Everyone got to catch a Snook. A keeper size was another story. We only ended with two keepers. That was pretty cool because Chip and Philip who are father and son doubled up and caught them at the same time. It was a goodnight of fishing and they were hungry so we headed back to Hiram’s so they could get a food order in before they closed.
