The weather has been hot, but perfect lately. The fishing has been a little slow.  We met up at the Inlet Marina and decided to go a little further out and try for some Dolphin.  We slow trolled a weed line and caught our fish.  There was a little bit of action. I even got to get into the mix and got to catch a decent fish. We were using light tackle which made it even more interesting. We did a few bottom drops at a couple of different spots. Seabass was the only thing biting, seems to be the norm lately.

It was a great day today.  Great fishing and great people! thanks  Jose for fishing with me again!  I always enjoy our trips!

After sleeping in,  Matson and I decided to give fishing  a late start. The weather and seas were perfect. The bait was still a few miles of the beach. We caught 5 or 6 Bonita and 2 kings around the bait pods. After the Bonita whipped our butts we decided to go and take it easy with Seabass. The bottom is still a little slow. We did catch our limit of Seabass and while doing that we caught 2 small dolphin. It was a pretty fun day with a little more action.

It’s the first time these three have fished with me. The weather was perfect. We met in the morning at the Inlet Marina. We started off in the flats fishing for some Trout or Reds.  Not much luck besides a couple missed fish and a ladyfish. I decided to make a move and go out in the ocean. The greenie pods were a little harder to find. Once we had enough we made a run for it. The kings were a little north than the previous day. once we got our baits out, it wasn’t long until the first king crushed a bait. The fish on the average were a little smaller than Saturday. We had plenty of action, we could of easily limited out. They only wanted to keep two fish for eat so released all the rest. On the way back through the Sebastian Inlet we stopped so they could catch some Jacks. The Jacks were in the 10lb. range. Everyone had a blast catching a few of the Jacks. Great weather, great day! Dave, Bryan, and Alyce are from Canada. They fished with me last year. Well the weather was perfect for fishing the ocean. We got our baits first thing. Greenies are thick along the tide line. There were some big schools of Jacks swimming around the bait pods. We played and caught a few.  We headed to the north where the king bite has been. We had a lot of good action once we got baits in the water.

The Kings were 10 – 15lbs. range. We easily had our limit. That was a great day with tons of reel screaming action. Thanks again Dave, Bryan, and Alyce. I hope you guys enjoyed you fresh fish. Hopefully you will fish with me again next year….

The weather has been nice the last few days. The winds are calm and the ocean is flat. The visibility is still  dirty and there is another big swell on the way. I picked Jesse, Kevin, Alex, and Jason up at Capt. Hiram’s in the morning. We caught plenty of small croakers then headed towards Bethel Buoy. There were small Sardines on the buoy. They were good enough for our share of Kingfish. We slow trolled the ledge and caught 7 or 8 Kings before we moved on and fished the bottom.

Once we started to bottom fish, they were catching Seabass one after the other. Jesse caught three Red Snapper, Two of the three would of been keepers. Alex caught a keeper Mangrove. We fished a few spots from 90ft to 60ft. Along the way we came across a log that had some juvenile Dolphin. We played for a bit catching and releasing. Overall it was a good day. A cooler full of fish, good laughs, and Rednecks!!! Thanks Jesse, Kevin, Alex, and Jason it was a pleasure fishing with you guys. Hope you guys had a great time as well.

Kenn and Steven are locals here in Brevard County. The weather was perfect, with no winds and plenty of sunshine. The tide in the inlet was out going in the morning. We departed from the Inlet Marina at 7 a.m. The greenies were right out front of the inlet. We caught a few and started our slow troll. With in a few minutes Kenn was hooked up with a solid Kingfish. It went about 15lbs. Steven hooked up next and landed a Kingfish just a bit bigger about 20lbs. It was on fire! the bite was happening! It was back and forth hook ups. It wasn’t long and we had our limit and were releasing 20lb Kings.

We ran the beaches a few miles to the north looking for some action, but no signs. We all decided that it had been a busy morning and we should head back to the dock. Kenn and Steve it was a pleasure to meet and fish with the both of you. hopefully we can all fish again in the future.

What a great day. The bait was just outside the Inlet and the Kings are going nuts. My brother Ken was over with his friend Tre.  We kind of had a late night on Friday, so we were late to the dock in the morning. Once we finally got going we had no problem getting bait. We  fished the inside along the beaches. We caught a few kings and a Bonita. After playing with the Kings we decided to go and catch a few Seabass. The weather was perfect and it was just a great day of fishing with my Bro. Tre, it was a pleasure meeting, fishing, and drinking with you all weekend, now hurry up with the pics!
