Mike, Allen, Marty, Jack, and Cam

rsz_gopr0077 (1)Mike, Allen, Marty, Jack, and Cam It was a beautiful sunny day. It was a little windy though. With the tide at the Sebastian Inlet being incoming till 3 p.m. we decided to wait till noon and head out. The Pilchards are still plentiful around the Marina. The ocean was choppy and it made it hard to go catch pigs. We fished the end of the incoming tide and Cam caught a big Redfish. Jack caught a big Jack.

Once the tide switched we moved and fished for Snook. Cam had the lucky hand. He caught his first Snook which was 32″ on the dot, maximum keeper. Cam did a great job of hooking up and landing it. Mike hooked up next and landed a decent Redfish, he also hooked up with a Snook but it cut him off.. Marty caught a Jack and that was about it. The bite was kind of slow. Around 5:30 we decided to call it quits and back in. Thanks Mike, Allen, and Marty for fishing and supporting attitude!

Mike, Marty, and Allen

rsz_gopr0069 (1)The weather started of raining. Mike, Marty, and Allen met up with me this morning at the Inlet Marina. It was raining at 8 a.m. so we waited till the rain moved through. Once ceared we went in search of bait. It was a little tough we stopped at about 6 different spots before we finally caught our first pinfish.

Once we had a few pins and Pigs we went to the Sebastian Inlet and started fishing. The tide was still incoming when we got there at 11:30 a.m. We made a few drifts. Allen had a big Redfish on for a few minutes but it came off. We caught a few Jacks at the slack of tide. Once the tide started to go out the bite picked up. Allen ended up catching a keeper Redfish and a oversized Red and a Shark. Marty caught a few Jacks, never did get a shot at a Red. Mike had the hot hand. He caught 3 Redfish, a Snook, and a few Jacks. Thanks again guys for fishing with Attitude today.  I will see you on Thursday.

Paul, Patty, and Paulie

rsz_gopr0053Paul, Patty, and Paulie have fished with me before. They are from N.Y. The weather was perfect with a light west wind. We decided to go offshore to the 60ft. stuff and slow troll some live baits. I cast netted a lot of Pilchards in the river. Once we got offshore we put lines out. It was not on fire by any means.

We did have 3 knock downs and landed 3 nice Mackerel. After that we came back inshore and the action with the Sharks, Bluefish and Jacks was non-stop. We never did land a Spinner Shark but had a few on for a few minutes. It was a fun productive morning with a lot of action. Thanks guys for coming fishing with me again. Hopefully we will see you again next year.

Pete and his Sons Mark and Dan. The weather was perfect. The ocean was flat calm with a light west wind. The tide in the Sebastian Inlet is incoming most of morning. Switching to outgoing around 10 a.m. We started off getting a few live baits. We fished the live baits and caught a couple of Jacks. There was a lot of Spanish Mackerel tearing up the surface. We switched to jigs and had a lot of fun catching them. It was a great morning of weather and fishing. It was a pleasure to meet and fish with Pete, Mark, and Dan. Thanks guys for fishing with Attitude.

rsz_gopr0002 (1)The weather was perfect again. It was a beautiful day to be on the water. We met in the morning at Inlet Marina. It was pretty foggy but quickly cleared up. Bait fishing was really difficult. We did hook up and land a keeper Cobia while we were bait fishing. We jigged for a bit but no luck. We also fished for Snook and also no luck. We decided to call it quits around 2 p.m. Thanks guys for fishing with Attitude, it was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you. Hope the Cobia was delicious.

Jim and Kelly

rsz_gopr0192Jim and Kelly are from Buffalo, N.Y.  They needed a break from the cold and decided to escape to Melbourne and take a day to fish. The tide was outgoing till 4 p.m. I had a few baits left over from this morning so we went and tried for the Snook.  No luck on the Snook but they caught a few Bluefish and Kelly caught a big Redfish. Once we ran out of bait we went and caught some more, which was a little difficult. We moved back to the Sebastian Inlet and drifted for the Reds but again no luck. We switched to jigs and had action on almost every cast. They caught plenty of Bluefish and Jacks. It was a good afternoon. It was nice fishing with Jim and Kelly. Thanks guys for fishing with Attitude.

They caught a mix bag of Jacks and Ladyfish. Next we were off to catch our bait for the Snook. The tide started to go out around 11 a.m. Ben was first to hook up and land a nice Snook which was 32 inches and fat. Kyle got a keeper as well a few minutes later. They had a couple of pick ups but no solid hook ups. It was a fun day of fishing with perfect weather. Thanks Ben, Nathan, and Kyle for fishing with attitude. Hope you enjoy the fresh Snook.

Dan, Emma, and Amin

rsz_gopr0028Another day of perfect weather. The Snook bite finally turned on. It was Dan, Emma, and Amin first trip out with me. We met up at the Inlet Marina at 8 a.m. We started off in the Sebastian Inlet throwing some jigs. They caught some Bluefish and Ladyfish. Next we went out and caught some Croakers. Was not easy but we managed to get enough to fish with. Once we started fishing it was not long before Dan hooked up. That one came off. Emma hooked up next and landed a solid Snook. Dan got a second shot and hooked up and landed a biggie Snook. Amin hooked up last but he caught the first keeper Snook of the season. They also had a few big Jacks.

On the way in, a 17ft. Boston Whaler capsized right in front of us. We safely pulled the five people out of the water and waited with them until the police showed up and offered to take over. Luckily everyone was ok. Thanks Dan, Emma, and Amin for your help and understanding in helping. Also thanks for fishing attitude. Hopefully we will fish together again in the future, it was a pleasure.
