Chipper and I

DCIM100GOPROThe weather was foggy in the morning. Once it cleared up it was a perfect day. The ocean was completely flat. We fished a few different depths and spots. We started off in 60 ft and caught a couple of Red Snapper. Then moved out deeper. We came across a turtle that had a short cobia on it and Manta Ray that had 2 short cobia. No keepers, well the manta went down after the first cast so maybe it had more fish. On the last spot we stopped, I was marking Cobia big time, but could not bring them up for nothing and could not get them to hit. I even had two hard head Croakers.  I heard of a few nice Cobia being caught from other boats. So pretty sure that we had under us just couldn’t produce. Some days just aren’t your day!
