Thom and Jen

The weather was perfect with a light west wind. Well theres not much to say it was a slow day. We went for Dolphin. We put lines out at 120 ft. and trolled for a long time. We did have one fish Dolphin on for a bit. We only got one hit all day. We went all the way out to 240 ft. and blue water. It was tough to find any weeds or rips. Only a handful of fish caught. Only one Wahoo weighed in for the S.I.S.A. Spring fling tournament.

Kelly and Bob

Bob snook Kelly Big Snook Kelly and Bob are friends and business partners. They run Malabar storage here in Palm Bay, Fl. The tide was incoming all night the switch was at midnight. We caught plenty of Croakers, they were thick. We watched the sunset and then headed to fish. The fishing was really slow at first. The Bluefish are thick, watch your baits. With the tide getting faster the fishing became impossible. Bob was the only one to get a hit, he had it on for a minute but came up short. We decided to take a little break and kill some time instead of our baits. We anchored up and waited.

When we went back to fishing the tide was just starting to weaken. The bite didn’t happen for a bit. Kelly was first to catch a fish a nice Redfish. On the next drift Kelly caught a keeper Snook, just 28″. Bob caught a big Redfish a few minutes later. Kelly caught a Snook that was 37″ that was a big boy. Nice Catch and Congrads again. I switched them over to plugs and Bob caught his keeper Snook fat 30″ and another short. The ladyfish are crazy thick on the outgoing. Well it got late quick. 2 keepers and that was that. Thanks Kelly and Bob for hooking me up with some storage and I hope you guys had some fun.

Bob, Mo, and Karl

20080505_7 This trip was the 2nd Night for Bob and Mo. Karl is a friend of Bob and This was his first trip aboard the Attitude Adjustment. The tide was incoming in the inlet for an hour after dark. The bait was not plentiful. Winds SE 15. We managed to catch about three dozen. We made our way to the inlet around 7 p.m. I figured the bite was to happen early and at the slower tide.

We started to fish and Karl would be the first to feel the power of a nice over sized Redfish. Karl ended up having the hot hands. He caught two big Reds and a nice keeper Snook. Bob had a keeper Snook with a Redfish or two and a small Goliath on a wind cheater. The bite was hot right before and just a bit after dark. Great trip, thanks Bob, Mo and Karl it was great to hook you up!

Fishing report…Sebastian, Fl.

Friday, May 2nd, 2008
Offshore- The winds have not stopped. It’s gonna be blown out this weekend. It should lay down on Monday. If you can get out start looking for weeds in 120ft. plus. Try rigging some Ballyhoo’s(nakeds are my favorites) There were some good reports of some nice big Dolphin last weekend. It was rough though.

Inshore and Sebastian Inlet- The Inlet has been active. The tide is should be slack and switching from incoming to outgoing around 8:30 p.m. If you want to catch Bluefish, Ladyfish, Jacks, and Spanish Mackeral then get down there now. You can’t miss! Lots of Greenies moving through on the incoming tides. The Snook bite has been fickle. Hit or Miss! Last week the pins were hard to find. I have started catching a few this week. The Redfish and Trout have been active in the flats. Live Shrimp is always the best for Trout.

Bob, Bill, and Mo

The winds are blowing SE 15-20. The inlet tide is incoming until dark. Slack was right at dark. We found the Pins today they were pretty thick. The greenies are thicker than I have ever seen in the inlet. When we first started fishing the Bluefish were really thick. It was difficult to get a bait through the Blues. Mo managed to get through and landed a nice Red that was 29″. As it got dark, the tide started to move out and we had to move inside to the fenders. At first the Ladyfish were so thick that we couldn’t keep them off the lines. The tide picked up and the fishing got more difficult. The wind was really blowing hard. That was a tough night. Maybe the winds will lighten and we will have 1 more hour of the incoming before dark tomorrow.
