We started off to some flats a little south. Emily(13) and Jillian(12) were new to fishing, but both did a great job. Emily caught 2 nice keeper trout, we released them though, she also caught a 5 lb. sheephead. We moved to the inlet for the 2nd half and had tons of fun on the jacks. John also landed a 22″ grouper.

Brad, Edward and Rhys
We headed to catch some pigs and pins. I had a bunch of baits
that I had cast netted before hand. Around 7 we moved into the
Inlet, We warmed up on the jacks, they were thick, catching
them up until dark. From dark to 11p.m. Edward hooked a nice snook
and was fighting it, the fish made a couple of nice runs, it finally
broke off in the fenders. The fishing was slow until right at the
end of the tide Edward hooked a Big 33 1/2″ Snook, it was on, Edward did a
great job at landing his fish..Thanks Brad, Edward, and Rhys hope you
guys enjoyed that fresh Snook!!!!

Tom Jackson and Family, We fished a little on the flats, but it was so
windy. We moved to the Inlet and fished, we caught about a dozen or so
jacks on light tackle drifting some baits. We had tons of action. Tom,
Mike, Dan, and K, thanks for a making it a fun trip..

Snook fishing at night with Matt and Dennis, We got our baits a
little before dark with the cast net. We waited for dark, once
dark, we started to fish. Setting drifts on the outgoing, Matt
quickly hooked a nice 30″ snook we landed it. I caught a 27″ a
few drifts later. Well that was it 2 fish, 2 keepers.

The weather was calm , nice enough for me and a Mr. Jon A. to head offshore. We headed straight to the bait spot. With a 4-5 dozen sardines we headed to do a few bottom drops. Just a few sea bass and a 15lb dolphin that hit on the drop, I was
dropping to the bottom when I see the fish jump right behind the boat, I realized then that was my fish. We decided to head out and troll. We found a nice rip in 180 ft. We quickly had a double knock down. The fishing was on, with a few more dolphin trolling,I switched us over to live baits, and lets just say we ended up with 13 dolphin.(6 over 15lbs. biggest a 22lb. bull on spinning tackle) The others were smaller but still decent fish.

Marty and John, nice guys, well we started to head out to fish offshore and it was windy.. The wind came up and its suppose to blow!!for the weekend.. well we turned around, I didnt want to beat up Marty and John. What a difference a day can make in the weather. we stayed inshore and caught bait..The wind was strong,,we did catch some big jacks and blues…..

Me, Matson and Johnny Atwater. The weather was perfect,its been calm for a few days.My boat was getting serviced yesterday(another perfect day). We headed out to troll for some dolphin we caught 2,10 and 15. Jon lost a nice fish that hit the downrigger, we saw it ,it jumped few times ..(20 or so…) well after that we were on a beautiful rip and weed line but nothing..We decided to head to bethel to get bait!! sardines were there! Capt. Bill Stewart from the Rogue Wave charter boat informed us of a Mangrove Snapper bite!! Thanks Bill!!! well we ended up with 6 nice mangroves.. a short cobia,a couple of chickens,,wish we would could of got the couple that we missed..but what alot of fun..Oh yeah i almost forgot the 40 + lb. king, I hooked it up on my calcutta 400s(15lb test) ,man that was fun..Smoke fish its on its way..it was a full day

ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT !!!

Terry and Marcus, we lost one nice red..we caught a few jacks fishing was very slow,, The bite was not on..The water temp. dropped its cold again well I hope this is the last of it…

The weather in the after noon had changed to a little overcast..with a light sprinkle..John wanted to fish so we charged it. The Jacks were thick, we caught fish the Whole time.Tons of light tackle action..

Brad Randall and Derek B. were ready to fish..The weather was clear and we were off. We caught our bait..The jacks were thick again we wanted to catch the grouper but couldn’t keep a bait down long enough without the jacks biting. We did end with a short grouper and dozen or so jacks…a fun trip
